Beth Gluck is an Executive Function Coach here at the Orchid Center, specializing in high school and college level students. Beth taught middle school mathematics for 12 years in Howard County prior to joining the team at the Orchid Center. While teaching in the county, Beth took on several leadership positions, including math team leader and leading a program called “kid talk.” Kid talk was designed to help failing or struggling students get back on track through interventions put in place by teachers. She also has many years of experience working one-on-one with students of all ages.
Beth received her Bachelor’s Degree in education with a concentration in mathematics from the University of Maryland at College Park. She also received her Master’s in curriculum and instruction from McDaniel College. Beth has a love for helping students succeed and enjoys watching them grow. She wants to help each student become more effective by teaching them skills that they can apply well beyond their current challenges.
